It's the Fall Pledge Season, so we bring you a variety of shorter works to demonstrate the many different styles and genres of stories told in audio. We'll begin with Backgrounds, a terror piece from Jeff Adams and Imagination X. A sweet love story of an elderly couple from Wisconsin Public Radio back in 1970, called Little Black Hole. From Yuri Rasovsky's 2000X series we have And Miles to Go Before I Sleep, science fiction by William F. Nolan. And we'll finish off with something completely different from Monty Python's Flying Circus, the radio version of their television piece about the neighborhood hoodlums, The Piranha Brothers.
And it's all here because you make your pledge of financial support for audio theater on Sound Affects, and for KFAI, your favorite community radio station. It's simple and it's easy. Try it.
