We talk with Arnold Alanen, author of Finns in Minnesota.  Arnold Alanan is a professor emeritus of landscape architecture at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has written extensively on landscape history, vernacular architecture, settlement patterns of Finnish American, and cultural resource preservation.
