9/17/2012 Pam Without Boundaries
What an absolute delight to speak with Tracy Grammer this morning by phone as she prepared to come to St. Paul to open the Red House Live series at Landmark Center September 21st. Tracy was candid in her answers about mining recordings made long ago, just before her partner Dave Carter died suddenly of a heart attack. This year is the 10th anniversary of his passing and Tracy has brought those recordings to light in two releases, "Little Blue Egg" and "Joy My Love." Dave's and Tracy's fans thank her and her performance at Landmark Center was terrific. We also heard new music this morning from The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Bob Dylan (goin' out to Tom), and Manuel Galban.
