Michelle Gross, President of Communities United Against Police Brutality, joins community members during this WAVE Project program on "Seeking Justice, Mandating Police Accountability.” The discussion will feature the story of a local mother and her son, who was killed by the police, the recent club closings in Downtown Minneapolis and the measure to dramatically change the Minneapolis Civilian Review Authority. Also included in the hour is a spoken word piece by local poet and rapper Tou SaiKo Lee and up-and-coming North Carolina singer-songwriter, Laila Nur.
