On Tuesday, July 3rd, our guests are Daniel Kalla and Camille Noe Pagan. Daniel Kalla calls in to talk about his new novel The Far Side of the Sky. He is an emergency room physician and the author of seven medical-thriller novels. A three-time finalist for the Pacific Northwest's best mystery novel of the year, Daniel Kalla has been dubbed "the next Michael Crichton" by the Chronicle Herald. The Far Side of the Sky weaves together intrigue, medical drama, and romance during a little-known chapter of the Second World War, when the cultures of Europe and Asia converged.
In the second half of the show, we speak with Camille Noe Pagan about her new novel The Art of Forgetting. She is a journalist specializing in health, nutrition, and profiles of innovative people. The Art of Forgetting, her first novel, is the story of two friends whose lives are dramatically altered when one of them experiences a traumatic brain injury and her personality changes.
