10/7/2007 Sound Affects: A Radio Playground
We ask you to support the station, and Sound Affects, in between short sketchs from the best American and British audio sketch comedy groups ever, the Firesign Theatre and Monty Python's Flying Circus. Both were active about the same time, early to mid 70s. And both took audio comedy in new directions. The biggest thing was that comedy albums were now made to listen to over and over again, and still have something new to discover with each listening.
