Feature Presentation - Stanley Weinbaum's first published story, A Martian Odyssey, voted the Second Best SF story ever published, voted by the Science Fiction Writers of America. An astronaut on the first Mars exploratory crashes his scout ship, and has to walk back to the base. He travels with a local inhabitant who calls himself "Tweel", and they become fast friends despite the language distance.
Story adaptation by Perry Jacob for Star Quest Entertainment, and winner of a Mark Time Award for Best SF Audio production of the year 1997.
