KFAI is seeking volunteers to serve on its Board of Directors and Program Committee--for more information or to apply, email elections@kfai.org today!

KFAI’s Board of Directors is charged with envisioning the future of KFAI and working the Executive Director and staff to realize that vision.  The Board approves budgets, develops governance policies and ensures compliance with those policies, and works closely with staff, volunteers and outside experts to execute the Strategic Plan.  KFAI’s board is now recruiting candidates for election to 1 or 2 year terms--we are particularly interested in candidates with accounting, financial, marketing, and fund-raising experience.  If you are passionate about KFAI or independent grass-roots media and the arts and want to help build a strong and growing KFAI, email elections@kfai.org, and/or attend a Board meeting (open to the public) on the fourth Monday of each month at 6:30 pm at the Humphrey Institute, Conference Room 186, located at 301 19th Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55455, a brief walk from KFAI.  Submit your online Nomination Form here.

The 11-member Program Committee is a committee of the Board that is made up of staff, volunteers, listeners, community members and Board members.  It is responsible for ensuring that KFAI’s mission is reflected in its diverse and vibrant programming by filling program vacancies, conducting regular program evaluations, and listening to as much KFAI programming as possible.  If you love listening to KFAI and want to help strengthen and support our diverse array of broadcast and web-exclusive programming, email elections@kfai.org, and/or attend Program Committee meetings (open to the public) on the second Tuesday of each month from 7-9pm in KFAI’s studio 5.  Submit your online Nomination Form here.
