Playing some big name Reggae stars, some lesser known ska artists, going back in the 60's, 70's and 80's and opening a brand new CD, right out of the package.
Played a few tracks from the Reggae Mt Rushmore of: Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff, Peter Tosh and Toots Hibbert. Found some other old-time sounds with the Gladiators, Mighty Diamonds & Alton Ellis. Took a few quick tours to the past with Eddy Grant and Dr. Buzzard's Original Savannah Band. Unearthed a local gem with the Jinkies; a new-old favorite with Chris Murray; and closed the show with a NEW track by Garland Jeffreys, right out of the CD package and coming to town in 3 weeks, at the Ritz in NE Mpls.
