Here's what I played on Womenfolk this past Sunday. In the second hour we remembered our dear friend Bob Feldman, host of KFAI's Urban Folk for over 15 years and founder and president of Red House Records:http://www.redhouserecords.com. For those who were unable to get tickets to the sold-out tribute concert at the Fitzgerald Theater, we played songs by artists he loved and promoted on and off the air. Big thanks for all the nice calls and kind words you offered. If you missed the show, you can catch it here on the KFAI archives.
This Sunday Amanda Balagur will be filling in for me while I'm in Philadelphia. She'll show the more electric side of women's music, rockin' out your Sunday. Make sure to tune in! -efs.
