12/14/2011 Echo Chamber
Getting into the holiday spirit...and jamming on the new Mungo's Hi-Fi Forward Ever album; the first release (Bunny Lee & the Aggrovators) from the new King Spinna record label; and a Heptones set in memory of the great Barry Llewelyn who died on November 23rd. Also new tonight: the fine "Miliciano" album from Prince Wadada; the sultry new "Love Someone" Citizen Sound single; the See-I "Remixed" album; Ashley's rootical "Land of Dub"; and "The Lost Books of Dub chap. 1" collection from the Dub Iration Sound System.
Also tonight remembering Philip "Fattis" Burrell from Xterminator Productions who died suddenly this month (on 12/3) and the man they called "The Ethiopian", Leonard Dillon, founder of The Ethiopians who died on September 28th.
