Music of Iran

On Sunday July 25, Tune into Century Song 8-10 AM for part four in the series on the the Ethnic music of Iran. This show will feature music of Turkman Sahra in Northeaster Iran. The Turkman have one of the richest music in Central Asia. Many of the recordings are from Dan Rein's 1996 trip to Iran and the Turkman region. Musicians included are Ostad Nazarli Mahjubi, Dordi Toriq, and Golich Anvari.
