Big Surf visits Radio Rumpus Room on Friday, May 14

Our old buddies from Surf Stomp are coming by the Radio Rumpus Room garage on Friday, May 14. Big Surf was the host band for the long-running Surf Night -- or Surf Stomp, take your pick -- at the Hexagon Bar for four or five years, and it was their (perhaps unfortunate) invitation to Ron and Jean to participate in that event that saddled them with our presence for that whole long chapter in Twin Cities surf music. Who got the last laugh? Find out during the May 14 program, as Big Surf promises to launch a withering, live insto-mental attack heretofore unexperienced in the Radio Rumpus Room what-we-call-a-studio. We'll be there.
