Fading to Grey is a new full-length play by Twin Cities playwright Richard A. Pettey. The play explores the true meaning of family. It follows Alan and Terry, a couple on the day of their twenty-fifth anniversary. We learn through encounters with family, friends and a surprise visitor what family and relationships really mean. Their relationship will be challenged, changed and strengthened. You will laugh, get angry and maybe even cry a little. But most of all you will appreciate these two men and the life they have together.
Minnesota Premiere August 3 - 19 at the Mounds Theatre:http://www.moundstheatre.org

Somewhere In Between:http://www.benlven.somee.com, by former Israeli soldier transgender playwright Ronnie Almog directed by Isi Mamnov, raises questions about our gender identity. In search of this identity, the play addresses issues regarding sexual identity, religious belief, political orientation and the role of the individual in society. The discussion exposes states of distress, pain, confusion, rejoice, pleasure and enjoyment. The play consists of a collection of short scenes, poems, dialogues and monologues using humorous and poetic language.
The play was premiered in the opening ceremony of Pride Month 2003 in Tzavta Theater in Tel-Aviv. It continues to run regularly in Tel-Aviv and around the country. The play also has an international success. It was performed in Zurich in the Warmer Mai Festival (May 2005), in San Francisco in the National Queer Arts Festival (June 2005) and in New York in the Fresh Fruits Festival (July 2005).
