Pledge drive time at KFAI and The Echo Chamber was packed full of new tunes...and some great old ones. Starting off with the new Dubnight Chap.3: Revelation Flux compilation on Kingdub Records:http://kingdub.com/home, and following that with the 3-CD boxset FX100 which marks the 100th release on Jarring Effects:http://www.jarringeffects.net/fx100 Also, new tonight: Undercover from J. Boogie's Dubtronic Science, Elektrafone from Beats Antique, Rolling Lion Studio's House of Dread, Natacha Atlas' Mounqaliba - Rising: The Remixes, and Virtual Dub 4 from Manwel T's Dubkey:http://dubkey.com label. Some other highlights of the program included Indigenous Resistance, Dub Colossus, Ital Roots Players, Version Big-Fi vs. Tappa Zukie, Copia Doble Systema, and the classic Dr. Seaton in the Echo Chamber from Rupie Edwards. In the Swissiverse, the baby dj dropped the Rico classic Jungle Beat into the mix, hot on the heels of TSPO, J.M. Jarre, Shiina Ringo, Capsula, The Soulsteppers, and YMCK reggae-fying an old Happy End tune written by Harry Hosono, of YMO fame.
