7/27/2011 Echo Chamber

Another week crammed full of excellent new dubwise & rootical music. From Juakali's Dreadbass Soundsystem, to Dub Vision's "Counter Attack", to Mista Majah P's Tolerance, to Asante Amen's "Over the Years", to Mystica Tribe's "Meditation Stick". And that was just the first course... More new stuff, including the fantastic "King Size Dub - Vol.15" (Echo Beach), See-I's fine self-titled release (on Fort Knox), Dubtrash's cool "Zion EP", Dubsalon's chilled "Durban Chamber", another Alpha Steppa dubplate, the new Mahom release on ODG, and Natty I's silly but beautiful single "I Love Dub". The third course was a vintage mix from CrandBrand (our pal Chris Rand) from 2004 - which pulled in Piratedub; Up, Bustle, & Out; Tenor Saw; The Skatalites; King Tubby; Max Romeo & Rico; Renegade Soundwave; and Jack Ruby & Black Disciples. And for dessert DJ Baby Swiss served up Twilight Circus, Creation Rebel, Cutty Ranks, Jackie Mittoo, and more...
