A celebrated string quartet has their backs against a wall on the eve of their White House debut. They’ve had to replace their violist with gifted, inexperienced Grace, who’s never played Beethoven's difficult Opus 131. OPUS explores the power and pettiness of collaboration... and what a girl's gotta do to play with the big boys. Dorian and his lover Elliot, the first violinist of the quartet, have frequent outbursts, which have slowed the quartet’s progress to the point that Dorian is fired because he "steals" an expensive Lazara violin that was given to the group and is played by Elliot.

Fe/Male choreographically hypothesizes on gendered power, intimacy, and joy. Repeating the same dances twice: once by an all-female cast and once by an all-male cast, Fe/Male seeks to uncover our preconceptions about the nature of gender. Choreography and direction by Jeffrey Peterson and Melissa Rolnick.

Celebrate Harvey Milk's birthday to remember him and other important figures from the LGBTQ rights movement, and demonstrate to Minneapolis that there is a strong movement in the Twin Cities fighting for full equality/safety/freedom for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) people. Bring your own sign, banner, drum etc to the march.

Confirmed speakers include Minneapolis Mayor RT Rybak, and LGBT political leaders like Councilmember Gary Schiff, Senator Scott Dibble, Representative Karen Clark. Youth leader Sean Simonson, Representatives from OutFrontMN, MN-NOW, Marriage Equality Minnesota, Javier Morillo-SEIU President local 26, local faith leaders, outspoken advocates from Greater Minnesota, and other LGBT heroes and leaders from our community! Music by Minnesota Freedom Jazz Band, Wild Colonial Bhoys, David Kottke, and Khari Jackson poetry slam champion.
