Saturday October 2, 2010
This year’s ride will launch from
Minnesota AIDS Project,
1400 Park Avenue South at 3:00pm.
Get there early to register at 2:00pm
Time for Cirque du SoGay: The Gayest Show on Earth. Queer Bike Gang’s second annual alley cat race a.k.a. bike scavenger hunt, conveniently synchronized with the launch of Fall Bike Walk Week, is all set for October 2nd, 2010.
Sure we like to bike, but there is more to our lives than hotties and exercise. QBG partners with many community organizations to make exciting QUEER things happen.
We are proud of our collaboration with the Minnesota AIDS Project, who has graciously branded a QBG safer sex kit for us to deliver via bike to local gay bars and other spaces we think could use them. Thank you MAP for making us even more famous!
This year we are excited to have Cirque du SoGay sponsored by the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force. This year, the Task Force is bringing Creating Change, the national conference on LGBT(Q) equality to our very own Minneapolis this upcoming February 6-11th, 2011. Creating change is an amazing way to learn about all kinds of social justice issues and work from activists and scholars across the nation, not to mention hottie central!
