In 1932, two young talented musicians named Milton Brown and Bob Wills were performing together in a radio band called The Light Crust Doughboys. These two would become the guiding forces of a highbred music later called Western Swing. This show featured some of the more prominent studio musicians who played with any number of touring and house bands in Texas, Oklahoma and the surrounding area of the SW. People like Roy Newman, Charles Mitchell and an ace of the 88's: Moon Mullican.
Todays program was put together by Doc Rock, who joins me in studio once a month.
