Living Consciously, Dying Gracefully: A Journey with Cancer and Beyond was co-written by Nancy and Becky and is their most recent book. Other books include Nancy's ground breaking non-fiction Lesbian Nuns: Breaking Silence & On My Honor: Lesbians Reflect on Their Scouting Experiences and Becky's fiction Sinister Paradise and Fertile Betrayal. Camp Trans is an annual gathering of transgender people and their allies in Michigan with the intent of: Protesting the exclusion of trans women from women-only spaces, most notably the Michigan Womyn's Music Festival;Building a trans-inclusive community that is welcoming and safe for all;Empowering the next generation of activists to fight for trans issues locally through organizer trainings, workshops, and leadership development; and Advocating for the inclusion of trans issues in progressive, queer, and feminist movements by building coalitions with supportive organizations and bringing attention to local campaigns.

Join us for a dynamic collaboration of theater artists as FSP and Project 515 unite to illuminate the inequities faced by same sex couples and to celebrate the vision of Minnesota where all citizens are equally valued and respected under the law.

Young people who have committed suicide based on their struggles with their sexual identity or who were harassed because they were perceived as being gay/lesbian,bi-sexual or transgender. Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth are up to FOUR TIMES more likely to attempt suicide than their heterosexual peers.

Out of the Darkness Community Walks!
By walking in the Out of the Darkness Community Walks to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), you will be walking with thousands of people nationwide to raise money for AFSP's vital research and education programs to prevent suicide and save lives, increase national awareness about depression and suicide, advocate for mental health issues, and assist survivors of suicide loss.
