She starts with her conversation by telling us what her role is at Metropolitan Health Plan. She explains signs and symptoms of high level of lead in your child. The only way to know the level of lead in your child's system is to have blood test done by your doctor. There are treatments available for children who have high level of lead in the system. Early detection and treatment is the best solution for your child. The source for lead contaimination are old paint chips from old houses built before 1978; old gasoline that has lead additive; jewelries that made of metal that has more concentration of lead element and the paint of the jewelry itself. Lead poison is a major concern for children.
