2/1/2010 Good Noise

Trish Thorup, former professional singer with over 10 different bands in the '70's and '80's, was Dale's guest this morning. Trish programed all the music this morning (except for a Mavis Staples double-play by request). The first half of the show was all vinyl from the era when Trish was performing and touring. A lot of the type of music she enjoyed at the time, but that didn't get a lot of commercial success. Mostly R B, some jazz and a little disco too. The second half was newer songs, mostly lesser known, again without a lot of prior airplay in most cases.
