KFAI Quick Year End Update!

As 2011 comes to a close, KFAI would like to thank you for your support of community radio.

Thank you for the conversations, music, stories and events you helped make possible at KFAI this year. KFAI is an independent, non-commercial radio station. Contributions from listener-members make up more than one third of the station's budget, paying for operating expenses such as utilities, equipment repair, and transmitter site rental.

Membership and Volunteer Director Pam Hill Kroyer would like to let you know the 5 Features of KFAI that make her the most proud to be part of the station.

The five things I am so proud of KFAI for doing are: creating conversations across cultures; playing so much world music on its airwaves; working to promote musicians just getting started playing around town; having shows devoted to art and literature; and, fostering a fearless approach to doing radio, where anyone can share the airwaves (I'm looking at you: Wave Project!). I love this place!
