It’s RNC convention week and KFAI’s Conversations with Al McFarlane is taking robust conversation to another level!

Thursday, August 28th, Brian Malloy joins us to talk about his two newest books, Brendan Wolf and Twelve Long Months.

In the second half of the show, Lynette Reini-Grandell talks with acclaimed poet Honor Moore about The Bishop’s Daughter: A Memoir. Honor Moore is one of this year’s Loft Mentors, and she will be reading in the Twin Cities next February.

DJ SLT will be spinning 2 sets for Next Element on friday, Sept 5th. Goth, industrial, 80’s new wave, and anything else. It will be just like listening to Across The Board, but with a dance floor.
