The North Country Bandits are no stranger to KFAI.

Listen to the archives of Good’n‘Country from this Saturday, Nov. 12 at 3 p.m. as host Ken Hippler and guest Ron Thums played two hours of songs honoring the men and women of our Armed Services. Artists included the well-known and obscure, and the timeline ranged from World War II to the current day.

Alfred “Pee Wee” Ellis, American saxophonist, composer and arranger will be featured on the Collective Eye, Saturday, November 12th at 12:15 p.m.

Gaia Groove, a duo from Italy will be stopping by on House Party Weds Nov 9 during the 4:00 hour. Host Harold Tremblay met them in Mankato this past weekend and had a chance to hear them play.

Tune in In Your Ear this Wednesday night (Nov. 9) at midnight (technically Thursday morning for literalists) as the former hosts of Radio Rumpus Room settle in for an extended, two-hour occupation of this long-established KFAI rock program.

Tune in to Rockin in Rhythm Monday Nov. 7th from 2:00 to 4:00pm. Host David Cummings will present a 2 hour program celebrating the centennial birthday anniversary for “The King of the Cowboys”, Roy Rogers. Roy was born on November 5th 1911 in Cincinnati, OH.

November 1st, 2011:Corazon Latino brings you an All Saint’s Day program celebrating Dia de Los Muertos in story and song. We will remember some of our favorite artists who have passed on during our program’s run…..Special Guest: Carla!

KFAI is currently seeking listener members to serve on the 2012 program committee. Program committee members must attend monthly meetings and should be devoted to helping KFAI meet its mission of developing program content and delivery mechanisms.

There are two open seats to fill — a two-year term and a one-year term.
