  • On this week’s True Brit!, host Simon Husbands welcomes our very first visiting dignitary – the Mayor of the Minneapolis suburb Golden Valley! Mayor Shep Harris will walk the red carpet and then set aside his chains of office as he shares his love of music and gives us an insight into how to be a rocking good democratically elected leader.

  • Hannibal Lokumbe will be the featured guest on the Collective Eye this Saturday, Feb. 11th, 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Hannibal is in town as the featured composer, educator, and artist-in-residence for the annual Witness celebration.

  • Local group The Pines join Pam on Monday, January 30th, 11am, to give a preview of their new album, “Dark So Gold,” out January 31st.

    David Huckfelt and Benson Ramsey are the founding members of The Pines, signed to Red House Records in 2006. “Dark So Gold,” their third album, marks a physical growth in the band from duo to seven members.

  • Crap From The Past, the legendary pop music radio show on KFAI (90.3 FM Minneapolis, 106.7 FM St. Paul, airing on Friday nights from 10:30 to midnight), turns twenty years old this week.
