World Refugee Day Celebration

The Twin Cities World Refugee Day Celebration is a locally organized festival that celebrates the more than 100,000 refugees living in Minnesota. 
This annual event is Saturday June 14th, from noon to 5 at the Wellstone Center at the Neighborhood House on St. Paul’s West Side.  
 The event is a collaboration between resettlement agencies, community based organizations, for-profit entities and ordinary citizens to recognize and celebrate refugees’ journeys to their new homes in the Twin Cities. Ifrah Mansour and Caroline Nguyen Ticarro-Parker are two of the Honorary Chairs who will leads this year’s event, They taled with KFAI's Mike Fischbein.
