Opening Reception

Bethel University Community Life Center – Benson Great Hall

KFAI, the Jewish Community Relations Council of Minnesota and the Dakotas (JCRC) and Bethel University have partnered to present Transfer of Memory, a photo exhibit of Holocaust survivors living, or who have lived, in Minnesota. On display at Bethel University through February 13, the exhibit features 37 portraits of survivors by photographer David Sherman.

The reception takes place Wed, Jan 22, at 2pm in the Benson Great Hall. It features survivor Dora Zaidenweber, who will recount stories from her newly published family memoir, Sky Tinged Red. Ms. Zaidenweber will also take questions from the audience and sign books following the reception.

The event is free and open to the public, and part of What's in the Mix--a series of community engagment forums made possible by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. It will be recorded and broadcast during an upcoming episode of MinneCulture, KFAI's weekly arts and culture program that airs Wednesdays at 7:30pm.
