Neighborhood Development Center Wins Award

A Twin Cities non-profit organization has won a national award for helping immigrants start businesses. The Neighborhood Development Center is one of four non-profits that received fifty thousand dollars at a ceremony in Washington DC this week. The Migration Policy Institute gives the “E Pluribus Unum” Awards each year to organizations that help immigrants and their families “join the mainstream of U.S. Society.” Mihailo Temali is the founder and CEO of the Neighborhood Development Center. He talked with KFAI’s Paul Brohagh.
