Set your radio dial, computer, or intergalatic beamer to the KFAI's Collective Eye, this Saturday from Noon- 1:30 pm, for a final celebration of International Women's Day. "and the ebb but reveals ME again" is an excerpt of a work from Zora Neale Hurston and seven illustrious women - Debra J. Stone, Lori-Young Williams, Amoke Kubat, Sha' Cage, Genesia Williams, Tish Jones and Beverly Cottman - will perform/read/create their individual interpretations of Hurston's work. A wide range of expression will be heard from women who are young griots to wise elders in the community. Musical selections will highlight each work and celebrate the contributions of women around the world. Also, this live program will be available via a live video stream, thanks to KFAI Volunteer Rajib Bahar.
Set your clock, spread the word....Zora Neale Hurston's emissaries will be in the house at KFAI, Saturday, March 30th, Noon - 1:30. You be there, too!
