Sister Simone Campbell

March 5, 2013
Sister Simone Campbell drew national attention last summer as leader of the “Nuns on the Bus” tour, which traveled through nine states to highlight issues facing the poor and elderly.
The tour came shortly after the Vatican censured a group of U.S. nuns, including Network, the Catholic lobbying group that Campbell heads. Network focuses on social justice issues including health care and immigration reform.
Campbell is in Minnesota to speak to the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet in St. Paul on Tuesday, March 5th, and at the College of St. Benedict the following day.
She talked with KFAI's Trisha Collopy on The Morning Blend.
