Brother Ali Interview Part 2

February 22, 2013
Brother Ali has a reputation for writing provocative political lyrics. For Ali, there is no distinction between his art making and his community activism. He’ll be giving a keynote speech at the Nobel Peace Prize Forum at Augsburg College in Minneapolis on March 9th, titled “Hip Hop and Peace.” He recently visited KFAI and talked with Jemma Brown. They discussed Ali's latest album, “Mourning in America and Dreaming in Color.” which isn’t background noise- it demands the listener’s full attention.
