True Brit! welcomes MARTIN NEWELL!

This week's TRUE BRIT! will welcome  English rock musician, singer, guitarist, songwriter, poet and author, Mr. Martin Newell. Sometimes called "the Wild Man of Wivenhoe" and also "the Greatest Living Englishman", Martin has been creating music and stories since the early 70's. His bands include The Cleaners From Venus, The Stray Trolleys, and The Brotherhood Of Lizards - as well as numerous album released under his own name. He has worked with Andy Partridge of XTC as well as having written books of poetry and a memoir.....as well as performing his music and poety live. Many of his albums were originally only released in cassette format. The legendary poet John Cooper Clarke even composed a poem about Martin!
