Minnesota Online High School
January 29, 2013
This is National School Choice week, organized to promote the idea that in many places around the country, especially Minnesota, students and their families have some flexibility in where they get their education.
Minnesota Online High School announced last week that it has received national accreditation by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement. That makes it one of two accredited online charter schools in Minnesota.
If you didn’t know that Minnesota had online charter high schools, you’re not alone. Lori Breidenbach is a teacher at Minnesota Online High School, where she has taught since 2006. Her daughter attended the school and her son is considering it.
Lori Breidenbach talked with KFAI's Dale Connelly and Terry Carter on The Morning Blend.
