Become a Minneapolis Firefighter!

January 22, 2013
A rare opportunity to apply for a firefighting job in Minneapolis is coming up at the end of January.
Captain Melanie Rucker stopped by KFAI's Morning Blend to tell that 2006 was the last time the Minneapolis Fire Department accepted new candidates.
Applications will be available starting on January 24th at Minneapolis fire stations, and there will be only three days to submit those applications, in person, January 31st, February 1st and February 2nd.
Dale Connelly asked Captain Rucker challenges and rewards of this demanding job.
