The Ericksons on Pam Without Boundaries Monday Morning

January 13, 2013
Tune in Monday morning to hear new local music from The Ericksons as they get ready to celebrate a CD release with a party at The Cedar Cultural Center. Pam has played music from this duo with the dreamy sound and lovely harmonies since their second album, “Don't Be Scared, Don't Be Alarmed,” released in 2010. Sisters Bethany and Jenny continue a swirly blend of confessional songwriting with gently prodding rhythms on the new album, “The Wild,” but when you listen to these new confessions, you may find yourself drawn in to deeper meanings in objects of everyday living. Listen for the songs “Dirty Dishes” and “Where Do You Dwell” in particular for the album's most strong symbolism. The Ericksons will join Pam on the air a little after 11am. The celebrate the new album with a party at The Cedar on Thursday, January 17th, with guest Jimmy Peterson (Bellwether) opening.
