Live it UP in Minnesota

Jules Herman and his Orchestra were all the rage back in the 50’s, playing regularly at The Prom Ballroom, a posh Twin Cities nightclub on University Avenue. Jules, regarded as one of the country’s greatest trumpet players, met his wife Lois Best while on the road with Lawrence Welk. Lois was Welk’s first Champagne Lady.
