
Alzheimer's Awareness Starts At Home

November is Alzheimer’s Awareness Month. The disease affects more than 5 million Americans. Researchers at the University of Minnesota are part of a worldwide effort to face up to Alzhemier’s and to improve the lives of Alzheimer’s patients and their families.
Dr. Riley McCarten is an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of Minnesota, and director of the Minneapolis VA Geriatric Research, Education and Clinical Center. He spoke with KFAI's Mike Fischbein and Flor Frey on The Morning Blend.
