
Celebrating Banned Books for 30 Years

Under the guise of protecting children, parents at libraries across the country are demanding that books be removed from the shelves. For 30 years librarians have been celebrating Banned Book Week to encourage the public to read books that have been banned. KFAI’s Susan Gray spoke to Librarian Deb Rierson and Larry Watson, an author who's been banned, to learn what books are causing all the trouble.
