African Refugee Committee Wins Award

Minnesota’s American Refugee Committee has picked up an award for a social media initiative they developed to connect people from Somalia who live all over the world. The “Peter F. Drucker Award for Nonprofit Innovation” went to ARC for their “I AM A STAR” program.  It brings with it 100 thousand dollars for the American Refugee Committee. Daniel Wordsworth is the President of the American Refugee Committee.  His organization was just chosen from among over 600 nonprofit groups to receive the Peter Drucker prize for Innovation.
