KFAI presents "Tortoise + Minenapolis Jazz All Stars, a live broadcast, in cooperation with the Walker Art Center on Friday, May 4th at 8:00 p.m.

Tortoise is known for its boundless intellectual curiosity and unmistakable instrumental collage of jazz, rock, electronica, dub, dance, ambient and minimilism.

This 312 - meets - 612 experiment features performers with new ideas and a shared musical vision including Tortoise along with Minneapolis' Douglas Ewart, Mike Lewis, JT Bates and Michele Kinney.
