The Pop Shop welcomes special guest, Monkees expert and Grammy-nominated producer, Andrew Sandoval

‎Hosts Liberty Finch and DJ Izzy welcome "Monkeeologist" Andrew Sandoval to The Pop Shop to discuss Davy Jones, the Monkees, and all things pop.

Andrew is the master producer responsible for the Grammy-nominated Rhino Entertainment project, "Where the Action is! Los Angeles Nuggets 1965-1968", and author of "The Monkees: the day-to-day story of the '60s TV pop sensation." Mojo magazine calls Andrew's book "essential reading," and "the only Monkees book you need."

In addition to his work on Monkees’ reissues, he’s produced special releases for The Beach Boys, The Bee Gees, Elvis Costello, Big Star, The Cyrkle, The Left Banke, Love, Pretty Things, and the Kinks, to name a just a few.

Andrew hosts a weekly internet radio show and podcast called Come to the Sunshine on Luxuria Music, which features ‘60s pop hits, rarities, alternative mixes and other delights.
