Celebrate Neighborliness

March 15, 2012
Story by Terry Carter
Tuesday, March 20th is the birthday of the late Children’s TV host Fred Rogers. A lot of people who grew up watching his long-running show on public television miss Fred Rogers and find comfort in their memories of watching his show. Especially now when there is no one in popular culture who comes close to personifying the kindness and friendly neighbor attitude that was Fred Rogers’ calling card.
Some have planned events to remember Mr. Rogers on his birthday. Mark Grunewald is one of them. He talked with Terry Carter on The Takeaway.
