
Womenfolk Live at Amsterdam on March 1st!

Womenfolk presents a special concert to kick off the station's International Women's Day celebrations on Thursday, March 1st at 9 pm at St. Paul's Amsterdam Bar and Hall. Hosted by DJ Ellen Stanley and featuring three great female-fronted bands, the all-ages event will include performances by Black Audience, The Reina del Cid Band, Mother Banjo Band and other surprise guests. There is no cover, and free parking will be available at the Lawson Ramp.
For a preview of this concert, tune in to Womenfolk on Tuesday, February 28th at 2 pm when Jayanthi Kyle of Black Audience stops by to perform live. Hope you can tune in live or on the KFAI archives and come out on the 1st!
