
Ending Childhood Obesity in Minnesota Jan 30th Health Notes

Kinshasha will talk with Melvin Anderson about his goal to end childhood obesity in Minnesota one community at a time.
As the founder and CEO of Youth Determined to Succeed (YDS), Minnesota’s most comprehensive youth health, fitness and wellness service organization Anderson will talk about the strategies that his organization is employing to help our youth.
February 2012, Anderson will launch the Kids 4 Health Institute, (K4H), a community-based initiative to reduce childhood obesity. K4H is a collaboration between Medica, Greater Twin Cities United Way and Brooklyn Center Community Schools, and will be located inside Brooklyn Center High School and serve the middle school and high school students.
