
Northside Tornado

It has been almost 7 full months since a tornado tore through North Minneapolis, severely damaging homes and upending an already economically stressed community.
Through the summer and fall people of the north side have been working to re-build their lives. One major player in this effort is the North Side Community Response Team, an organization working with more than 50 different churches, agencies and groups to help the north side recover.
Louis King, CEO of Summit Academy, talked with KFAI’s Mike Fischbein, who asked how the tornado response effort was going.
