
Tornado jobs end on Minneapolis' North Side

The Labor Day weekend marks the end of summertime, and for a group of young people on the North Side of Minneapolis, the end of August means the end of their summer jobs.
For the past few years, summer jobs for youth have been hard to find just about everywhere. In North Minneapolis, last spring’s disastrous tornado tore up the neighborhood, but also created some opportunity to work, earn money, and give back to the community.
