
True Brit! Talks to Singer / Songwriter Katy Vernon!

On this Friday night's True Brit! host Simon Husbands will be chatting to singer songwriter, Katy Vernon, as she tells us about her New Romantic days and ways, as well as performing some live music in the studio.
Katy grew up in London, England. She started writing songs when she
was 12. As lead singer for the group 'The Camdens' ( with another Brit, Scott Walker ) Katy played all over the Twin Cities. Taking a break to raise two wonderful girls she sang with a fun 50's/60's band 'Fab Tab and the Teds'. This year Katy picked up a ukulele and started writing again. Katy also sings with the 'Mad Ripple' now and is working towards her first solo release Before I Forget
'Mad Ripple' are playing at the Stone Arch festival on Father's Day.
This Sunday 2pm at Star Tribune stage. Katy also plays solo at 'Marketfest' in White Bear Lake, July 28th at 6pm.
