
Ben Weaver, Dobby Gibson, and Charles Baxter on Write on Radio Tuesday, Sept. 21st, 7 to 8 p.m.

On Tuesday, September 21st writer and musician Ben Weaver will be in the studio to talk about his newest creative endeavors, which include his work as a writer, a new album called Mirepoix and Smoke, and his stint as an artist-in-residence Sept. 23rd through Oct. 8th at Bryant-Lake Bowl. Joining Ben Weaver will be poet Dobby Gibson, who will also perform as part of the residency Sept. 30th. Dobby Gibson is the author of Polar and Skirmish.
Also on this week's show we welcome back to the studio Charles Baxter, who is hosting the 3rd annual writers benefit for hunger, Wednesday, Sept. 22nd, at 7:30 p.m. at the University of Minnesota's McNamara Alumni Center. Charles Baxter is the author of many works of literature, including The Soul Thief and The Feast of Love.
