Youth News Accepting Applications for Summer 2010
April 12, 2010
Once again this summer, KFAI will host eight teenage girls for our fifth Youth News Initiative. The program is held June 22nd through August 13th, three days per week from 10am-1pm. The girls learn radio producing skills, job and economic readiness skills and have the opportunity to visit other broadcast organizations around the Twin Cities. By the end of the program, they will produce a news story that will air on the KFAI Evening News. Girls of color ages 13-18 are eligible to apply for the program. If you are interested in this program, or know someone who is, please fill out the form attached to the brochure and mail it to: KFAI News Director Ahndi Fridell, 1808 Riverside Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55454.
